What is Planning Poker
Planning Poker or Scrum Poker, is an engaging and consensus-based technique used to estimate the complexity and effort required for a software feature. Each team member selects a vote from a range of card sets, keeping their choice hidden until all members have voted. This ensures unbiased voting and prevents influence from others. The process continues with the highest and lowest estimates explaining their reasoning, and it is repeated until the team reaches a consensus on the value.
Scrum Poker Online is a web-based implementation of this technique, designed for remote teams or those who prefer a digital approach. Its user-friendly mobile interface allows participants to join the session using their smartphones. Additionally, it offers convenient plugins for ticketing systems like JIRA, allowing teams to seamlessly access their upcoming tasks.
